Who we are
Based at Carters Corner near Hailsham, Woollard provides a range of construction and earthworks services at competitive rates. Our operations are undertaken on a local and national scale, and we pride ourselves on consistently high standards of work.
The company started in earthmoving, becoming one of the leading land clearance and golf-course shaping contractors across the UK. In later years Woollard diversified into agricultural steel-framed buildings, construction and concreting. That diversification has been integral to the continuous expansion and success of the business, and we remain committed to challenging ourselves with new and demanding projects.
How we work
We would rather tell you what a job actually involves than win it on an optimistic number. Most of our work comes from people we have worked for before, or from the people they recommend us to, which only happens if the first answer was honest.
Our plant is maintained in-house, and our operators are experienced at holding formation levels tightly and keeping the cut-and-fill balance realistic — the difference between a scheme that works and one that needs revisiting.
